INTRODUCTION

So today I'm going to discuss about physiotherapy. So most of you who are reading this blog must be aware of this term but do you actually know how important role it plays in human lives and that too in today's world. Well this post is totally going to discuss about it.

The practice in physiotherapy has changed tremendously over the past decades and as people complain of pain problems and various deformities related to joints and muscles. Even the young age and middle aged people face these problems in their day-to-day life. Also if we look today the demand of physiotherapists has increased upto a great level as they play an important role in management of chronic diseases and other inter-professional teams.

Also let's take the example of the current situation. As we talked previously that physios are being demanded tremendously now, the current situation of COVID-19 when the situation has been worsened and even getting more worse the physiotherapists have been told the LIVE MEDICINE. Physiotherapy involves many specializations after the Bachelor's degree is completed. So, in the situation of COVID-19, the physios performed CHEST THERAPY in which the patients lungs widens so that the medicine works more effectively. So now you have a rough idea that how physiotherapy plays an important role in day-to-day life of people now. Even during the time of H1N1 FLU( swine flu), physios played a very important role in order to save lives of people.

Now let's talk about future scope for this field for some students who maybe aspiring to opt physiotherapy as their career. In today's time it's a really widespreading field and also you can get many job oppurtinities in government as well as private sectors. For opting this you should have PCB subjects in your +2. The syllabus includes everything same as in MBBS. Also it is very interesting to study and even the practicals are fun if you understand the facts and you've interest in knowing about the human body and how it works.
